The M11-A1 pairs a compact, rail-less P-series alloy frame with a one-piece milled stainless slide for durability and smooth cycling. The slide uses an external extractor, with rear cocking serrations for confident manipulation and a SIG medallion on top.
Its DA/SA action includes a decocking lever and Sig's short reset trigger (SRT) for a distinct, quick reset. An exposed spur hammer supports deliberate control from either double-action or single-action starts.
SIGLITE tritium night sights in a 3-dot setup provide low-light visibility, set on a 5.7 in sight radius for clear alignment. The pistol uses P228-marked polymer grip panels on a black hard-coat anodized aluminum alloy frame with a rounded trigger guard.
Phosphate-coated internal steel parts enhance corrosion resistance. Dimensions are compact and carry-friendly: overall length 7.1 in, height 5.4 in, width 1.5 in. Capacity is 15+1 with the included steel magazines.
