The Cross features a monolithic, one-piece aluminum receiver with an integral MIL-STD-1913 top rail and a free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard. Right-side ejection keeps the left side clean for support-hand use and accessories. The receiver wears a durable black anodized finish and is made in the United States.
Its 18 in stainless steel barrel is free-floating and threaded 5/8x24 with a thread protector. A 1:8 twist supports a wide range of 6.5 Creedmoor projectiles. The factory procedure supports user-changeable barrels, adding flexibility for future caliber or barrel swaps.
The folding, skeletonized stock is tool-less adjustable for length of pull, comb height, buttpad height, and buttpad cant. Length of pull is set at 12.75 in. Folded, the rifle measures approximately 27.0 in for compact transport; unfolded overall length is about 35.5 in. Weight is about 6.4 lb.
A three-lug bolt with a 60-degree throw provides fast cycling. The two-stage, match, user-adjustable trigger and ambidextrous safety selector support precise, consistent operation. The rifle accepts AICS-pattern detachable magazines and has a stated capacity of 10+1.
