The EDC X9 is a compact 9mm built on Wilson Combat's X-Frame, machined from 7075-T6 aluminum for strength with reduced weight. The frame, frontstrap, backstrap, and G10 grips wear X-TAC texturing for confident purchase, and controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety and a solid curved trigger with vertical serrations.
Its 4-inch stainless steel match barrel is bull-profile, bushingless, and single-lug with fluting for the Enhanced Reliability System. The Tri-Top low-mass slide has longitudinal top serrations and X-TAC serrations front and rear, along with an external extractor. The factory Armor-Tuff finish provides a durable protective coating.
The factory True Zero optics-ready cut is set up with an RMR-pattern plate installed. Sights are a green fiber-optic front blade and a plain black rear notch integrated with the optics plate, and the front sight is user-replaceable to suit preference.
An integral three-slot accessory rail on the dustcover supports common lights or lasers. Capacity is 15+1 with the included double-stack 9mm magazines, and Wilson Combat lists a 1.5-inch at 25 yards factory accuracy guarantee for this model. Standard factory markings are present.
