It uses Walther's pre-cocked, constant double-action trigger and includes a MIL-STD-1913 three-slot accessory rail, three-dot sights, and a reversible push-button magazine release.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: There is slight marring on the barrel from prior use, and finish wear is present on the knurled thread protector.

The SD configuration centers on a 4.6 in extended barrel cut with 1/2x28 UNEF threads and capped by a knurled protector. This setup pairs with a Tenifer/nitrided slide featuring front and rear serrations for positive manipulation. The low-profile three-dot sights include a windage-adjustable rear, and the sight radius measures approximately 160 mm.
The PPX action is hammer-fired with a spurless external hammer and a pre-cocked, constant double-action trigger set at approximately 6.5 lb. Internal safeties include a firing pin block and drop safety, and a loaded-chamber viewport provides a quick status check. Controls include a reversible push-button magazine release, a left-side slide stop, and a takedown lever.
This full-size polymer-frame pistol offers a 16+1 capacity with steel factory magazines. A MIL-STD-1913 three-slot accessory rail on the dust cover supports common illumination tools. Grip panels are molded into the frame with ergonomic texturing for secure handling.
German manufacture is confirmed by C.I.P. DE and C.I.P. N proofs alongside the Ulm antler mark, with U.S. import marking from Walther Arms, Fort Smith, AR. The PPX line was later superseded by the Walther Creed, placing this SD variant as a defined chapter in Walther's modern service-pistol lineage.
