The 16.2 inch steel barrel is cold hammer forged and threaded 1/2x28 UNEF, then overlaid by the factory faux-suppressor muzzle shroud. This factory configuration preserves standard muzzle threads while giving the carbine its distinct profile.
The receiver, handguard, and stock are polymer in Flat Dark Earth. The stock is side-folding, adjustable, and skeletonized, offering a compact footprint and quick deployment. The polymer M-LOK handguard provides modern accessory mounting along the forend.
Controls are intuitive and fully featured: straight blowback, semi-automatic action; side-mounted charging handle; paddle-style magazine release; ambidextrous, pictogram-marked thumb safeties; and ambidextrous bolt catch. A full-length 1913 Picatinny top rail runs over the receiver, and adjustable polymer flip-up sights are installed.
Markings are consistent and clear, including the model designation 'CZ SCORPION EVO 3 S1' on the receiver, Czech proof marks with year '21', the origin mark 'MADE IN CZECH REPUBLIC', and the importer 'CZ-USA, Kansas City, KS'. These factory and proof details verify manufacture in the Czech Republic and import by CZ-USA.
This carbine arrives with one 50-round drum and two 20-round CZ-marked magazines, supporting the listed 50+1 capacity, along with a cleaning kit to keep the bore in its excellent condition.
