This 50th Anniversary model incorporates signature commemorative touches. The bolt is polished stainless with laser-engraved anniversary markings, and the black polymer upper handguard sets it apart from standard production rifles. The GB-style front assembly integrates the bayonet lug and a birdcage flash suppressor, aligning with the included bayonet.
The rifle retains the proven Mini-14 operating system: a semi-automatic action with a Garand-style rotating bolt and short-stroke gas piston. Its 18.5 in cold hammer-forged alloy-steel barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and paired with a 1:9 RH twist for 5.56 NATO. The blued alloy-steel receiver and barrel complete the traditional Ruger finish.
Sighting equipment is straightforward and durable: a protected blade front sight and a ghost-ring aperture rear with protective ears. The receiver includes integral Ruger scope-ring cuts and is drilled and tapped, offering straightforward scope attachment. A left-side sling swivel is fitted on the gas-block band.
Furniture is classic walnut with an M1-Carbine–style oiler/sling slot and a rubber buttpad; the black polymer upper handguard is fitted. Capacity is 20+1, and the rifle ships with a Ruger-marked steel 20-round magazine, a 1 inch scope.
