The Ultra variant uses a 3-inch stainless steel bull barrel with a bushingless design and recessed crown, paired with a full-length guide rod. Capacity is 7+1 rounds, and the approximate unloaded weight is 25 oz.
The slide wears a matte black KimPro II finish with rear cocking serrations only. The frame is aluminum alloy in satin silver KimPro II, creating a durable two-tone combination suited to carry. The RoundHeel frame treatment is designed to reduce printing.
Meprolight Tactical Wedge tritium night sights are installed, featuring a tritium front blade and a drift-adjustable rear for low-light visibility. Controls include a beavertail grip safety and a left-side thumb safety.
The pistol is equipped with Crimson Trace Master Series G10 Lasergrips with a frontstrap activation pad. A skeletonized, aluminum, match-grade trigger and a skeletonized commander-style hammer complete the 1911 control set. The frame is roll-marked Yonkers, NY, USA, and the gun is made in the USA.
