The PX4 Storm’s short-recoil, rotating-barrel action is a defining feature of this model. This example pairs that system with a chrome-lined 4-inch steel barrel and a 1:16 RH twist, built for durability and consistent function with .45 ACP.
Controls and operation are DA/SA with a slide-mounted safety/decocker and an external, skeletonized hammer. The magazine release is reversible and size-changeable to suit the shooter. There is no magazine disconnect, so the pistol will fire with the magazine removed.
Sight setup is a 3-dot system with both front and rear sights removable, and a 5.86-inch sight radius for a clear sight picture. An accessory rail on the dust cover provides a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny interface with three slots for mounting compatible lights or accessories.
Construction includes a fiberglass-reinforced polymer frame and black-finished slide. This .45 ACP variant is the full-size configuration with a 10+1 capacity as configured.
