The Omni Hybrid Maxx uses OD-green polymer hybrid upper and lower receivers with integrated reinforcement ribs for a lightweight build. The rollmarks read: AMERICAN TACTICAL – SUMMERVILLE SC; OMNI HYBRID MULTI-CAL; MADE IN USA, with patent markings US 8,789,305 and US 9,068,786. The receiver set features a flat-top Picatinny upper, an ejection-port dust cover, and a brass deflector.
A slim, free-float aluminum handguard provides M-LOK slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions and a full-length 1913 Picatinny rail along the top. The barrel is threaded and fitted with an A2-style birdcage flash hider. A carbine-style receiver extension supports a black polymer brace and a black polymer AR-15 grip.
This pistol runs a direct-impingement action with a manual safety on the AR-15 platform. It is set up as optic-only and arrives with an American Tactical reflex red dot installed, giving a red reticle for fast sighting on the flat-top rail.
Chambered in 5.56mm NATO with a 7.5-inch barrel, it includes both a 60-round ATI/Schmeisser magazine and a 30-round Magpul PMAG, supporting the listed 60+1 capacity. The configuration combines compact dimensions with modern rail space and mounting options.
