The Wrangler Birdshead pairs an aluminum-alloy frame in Burnt Bronze Cerakote with a zinc-alloy birdshead grip frame for a compact, easy-handling profile. The cold hammer-forged steel barrel and black-oxide steel cylinder provide durable working surfaces and a clean, purposeful look.
Operation is traditional single-action with an external hammer, supported by Ruger's transfer-bar safety and a loading gate interlock. A push-button base pin latch and crescent-style ejector enhance straightforward loading and unloading at the range.
Fixed sights include a front blade and an integral rear notch for a simple, rugged sight picture. Black synthetic birdshead grip panels with Ruger medallions complete the package and maintain the compact grip shape.
At approximately 28 oz unloaded and 8.62 in overall length, this revolver is sized for convenient carry and holster use. It fits Single-Six–style 3.75 in holsters and accepts Ruger Birdshead-pattern aftermarket grips. Markings read "RUGER, NEWPORT, NH USA," and the revolver was manufactured in the United States in 2021.
