This Kimber Pro CDP Series II comes from the Kimber Custom Shop and embodies the Custom Defense Package features in a carry-friendly 1911. It pairs a 4-inch bushingless, bull barrel with a full-size grip frame, an aluminum alloy frame for reduced weight, and a two-tone finish with a matte stainless slide. Dehorned edges, checkering, and a beavertail with memory pad round out a purpose-built configuration, with 8+1 capacity and four total magazines included.

Built by Kimber's Custom Shop, the Pro CDP Series II is configured for defensive carry. CDP stands for Custom Defense Package, bringing together dehorned edges, front and rear cocking serrations, and a lowered/flared ejection port to support smooth handling and reliable function.
The aluminum alloy frame keeps weight down to approximately 28 oz unloaded while retaining a full-size grip frame for a solid hold. The two-tone look combines a matte stainless slide over a dark frame for a clean, practical finish.
The Pro-length 4-inch barrel is a bushingless, bull profile. This setup, paired with the single-action 1911 platform, offers a balanced size that remains easy to carry without sacrificing shootability.
Controls and safeties include a manual thumb safety, grip safety, and Kimber's Series II firing pin block. A beavertail grip safety with memory pad, a skeletonized commander-style hammer, and a skeletonized three-hole aluminum trigger complete the Custom Shop touches.
Fixed, dovetailed 3-dot sights provide a straightforward sight picture. The front strap is checkered, and the mainspring housing is flat and checkered. Double-diamond checkered hardwood grip panels finish the classic 1911 ergonomics. Made in the USA and chambered in .45 ACP with an 8+1 capacity, this example includes four magazines to get you started.
