The Honey Badger Upgrade Kit from Q is installed on this pistol, providing an improved bolt carrier group and buffer spring. This official Q upgrade enhances the core operating components while retaining the Honey Badger's factory geometry and handling.
The 7-inch barrel uses a 1:5 twist and 5/8x24 threads, capped with Q's Bottle Rocket blast can installed over Q's Cherry Bomb taper-mount muzzle device. A pistol-length gas system and a low-profile, externally adjustable gas block allow fine-tuning and are accessible under the free-float M-LOK handguard with a continuous top Picatinny rail.
Controls and furniture are geared for fast, confident use: an ambidextrous charging handle, a two-stage flat-shoe trigger, and a Magpul MOE-type polymer grip. The enlarged ejection port and absence of a forward assist reflect Q's streamlined approach.
The PDW-style dual-rod telescoping brace uses quick-release buttons and a rear strap, keeping the platform compact and maneuverable. Overall length is approximately 20.75–25.5 inches, and weight is about 4.9 lb, delivering a light, balanced package.
