The Raptor II showcases the series' signature styling with front and rear scale serrations and top-strap scale texturing on the slide. The front strap and mainspring housing also carry the Raptor-scale pattern for a secure, consistent hold. Factory wood grips mirror this texture and include Kimber oval medallions for a clean, Custom Shop look.
Performance parts are match-grade where it matters. The barrel, chamber, and the aluminum three-hole skeletonized trigger are match-grade, working with a skeletonized commander-style hammer to support a crisp, reliable single-action pull. A lowered and flared ejection port and a beveled magazine well further streamline operation and reloads.
Controls are well-appointed: ambidextrous thumb safeties and a beavertail grip safety with a raised memory bump provide confident manipulation and consistent engagement. The pistol uses a Series II/Swartz-type firing-pin block. Sighting is straightforward and durable with fixed, dovetailed sights and a single white dot front sight for quick reference.
This is a full-size Government-length 1911 with a 5-inch slide and an approximate catalog weight of 38 oz. It runs a traditional short-recoil, tilting-barrel operating system and uses a standard single-stack 7-round magazine for a 7+1 capacity in .45 ACP.
