This U.S.-made Browning Buck Mark 5.5 Target is a full-size .22 LR pistol from 1989 featuring a fixed 5.5 inch heavy, slab-sided barrel with a serrated rib and Browning Pro-Target micrometer-click adjustable rear sight. It uses a straight blowback, fixed-barrel target configuration and includes a factory 10-round metal magazine and the Browning Buck Mark manual. The bore is excellent with sharp rifling, and the pistol retains the hallmark gold-colored trigger and checkered black synthetic grips with Browning deer-head medallions.

The 5.5 Target configuration centers on a fixed, non-tapered 5.5 inch slab-sided steel barrel with an integral top flat and serrated rib. The barrel and sight base are secured by two large topstrap through-screws, giving the pistol a solid target setup.
Sighting is handled by a Browning Pro-Target micrometer-click adjustable rear sight paired with a ramped front post. This iron-sight arrangement offers precise, incremental adjustment at the rear while maintaining a clear front blade.
The pistol operates on a straight blowback action with a fixed barrel and a 10+1 capacity in .22 LR. Left-side controls include a thumb safety and slide stop, with a button magazine release positioned at the rear of the trigger guard.
Construction features a 7075-T6 aluminum frame and aluminum-alloy receiver matched to the steel barrel. The trigger is gold-colored, and the grip panels are checkered black synthetic with inlaid Browning deer-head medallions. Overall size is full-size.
