This full-size Springfield Armory 1911 Operator (MPN PO9230) is a forged-steel .45 ACP with a Government-length 5 inch, match-grade stainless bushing barrel and a black Cerakote finish. It features an integrated three-slot Picatinny rail, tritium front sight with a serrated Tactical Rack rear, and textured tan G10 grips. The pistol is in excellent condition and comes with two 8-round magazines, the factory box, soft case, and manual.

The Operator configuration pairs a forged steel slide and forged carbon-steel frame with a black Cerakote finish for durability. The 5 inch forged stainless match-grade barrel uses a traditional bushing and GI-style recoil plug, combining a Government-length slide with precise barrel fit.
The railed dustcover incorporates a three-slot Picatinny accessory rail, and the slide wears front and rear cocking serrations. Controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety with a raised memory pad. The Series 70–style system uses a lightweight firing pin and extra-power spring to meet drop-safety standards without a mechanical firing-pin block. A skeletonized long, three-hole trigger and a skeletonized Commander-style hammer complete the fire-control setup.
Factory sights consist of a tritium front sight and a serrated Tactical Rack rear. The frame adds practical touches such as a checkered mainspring housing with a smooth front strap, along with a standard, internally beveled magazine well for streamlined reloads. Textured tan G10 grip panels provide a secure hold.
Markings include "OPERATOR" on the slide with "SPRINGFIELD ARMORY" on the right side, "S.A. .45AUTO" on the barrel hood, and "SI Geneseo IL USA" on the frame. Capacity is 8+1 with single-stack magazines. Country of origin is USA.
