The XS7 designation identifies this rifle as the short-action variant of the X7 series, chambered here in .243 Winchester. It feeds from an internal blind box magazine for a 4+1 capacity and uses a round, textured bolt knob for positive manipulation.
The 22 inch button-rifled sporter barrel is secured with a Savage-style barrel nut. The receiver is drilled and tapped for optics, and this example has a one-piece Picatinny rail installed. The rifle comes without iron sights.
The black synthetic stock is pillar-bedded and features molded checkering, a cheekpiece, a recoil pad, a rear sling-swivel stud, and a pistol-grip cap medallion. Length of pull is 13.0 inches.
Safety is handled by a two-position safety and an in-trigger safety blade. The adjustable Pro-Fire trigger allows fine-tuning to the shooter’s preference. The barrel rollmark notes Mayfield, Kentucky, U.S.A., and the rifle is made in the United States.
