The MK12 configuration centers on an 18-inch stainless barrel with an MK12 profile, a DLC finish, and a threaded muzzle capped by a closed-tine three-prong flash hider. A rifle-length gas system pairs with a low-profile gas block positioned forward of the handguard.
The DDM4 free-float quad rail is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and features a continuous, T-marked top Picatinny rail with "DDM4 RAIL" marking. This setup provides robust rail space while keeping the barrel free-floated.
The forged upper receiver is marked "MK12" and includes a forward assist and ejection-port cover. The lower is marked "Daniel Defense / BLACK CREEK, GA U.S.A. / MODEL DDM4 / CAL. MULTI." Receivers are aluminum with a Type III hard-coat anodized finish.
