Built on a steel receiver with dual action bars, this 870 Express Tactical runs a 12-gauge, 18.5-inch carbon steel barrel and an extended magazine for a 6+1 capacity. It chambers 2 3/4-inch or 3-inch shells and wears a matte black finish throughout.
The sighting system centers on a receiver-top Picatinny rail with an integrated ghost-ring rear and a ramped, protected front post. This provides a durable, easy-to-read setup while preserving rail space for mounting as configured. The extended magazine is secured with a barrel clamp.
The muzzle is threaded for screw-in chokes and currently fitted with an extended, ported breacher-style choke tube. This configuration adds versatility at the muzzle while maintaining the shotgun’s compact 18.5-inch length.
Thoughtful upgrades include a Magpul SGA polymer stock with a 13.25-inch length of pull, a GG&G sling-plate adapter between the receiver and stock, and an adhesive loop field on the left side of the receiver. A SureFire foreend light is installed, providing a dedicated weaponlight integrated into the pump forend.
Barrel markings read "REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY ILION, NY," with a star symbol near the chamber stamp. This shotgun was made in the United States.
