The HW 357 Target pairs a 6 in round carbon steel barrel with a ventilated rib and rectangular lightening ports. The rib and topstrap are serrated to reduce glare, and a ramped front sight sits on the rib ahead of a fully adjustable square-notch rear sight for precise alignment.
Built on a carbon steel frame with a polished blued finish, this revolver uses a DA/SA action with an exposed, checkered hammer spur. The left-side thumb-latch provides straightforward cylinder release, and the knurled ejector rod is largely unshrouded with a short forward lug.
It carries a six-shot fluted cylinder chambered in .357 Magnum, marked with the German rollmark "Kal .357 Magnum." Oversize checkered hardwood target stocks with a square-butt profile give a secure, hand-filling hold suited to deliberate shooting.
Markings and origin details include a circled "W" stamp on the barrel, a "W" mark on the crane, "Made in Germany" on the frame, and the HW 357 model designation with the Arminius head logo. Matching internal/assembly marks are visible in the crane window, confirming factory fit and alignment.
