The Gen II configuration integrates a full-length Picatinny top rail that spans the receiver and handguard, providing a continuous mounting surface. The aluminum M-LOK handguard offers modern accessory attachment while keeping the front end rigid and durable.
Its 8.3-inch cold hammer forged, chrome lined barrel is threaded and fitted with an A2-style flash hider. The barrel twist is 1:9.45 RH, and the receiver is marked "GALIL ACE SAR CAL. 7.62x39" and "CHF/CL 1:9.45 H3."
Operation is via a proven long-stroke gas piston with a rotating bolt. Controls include ambidextrous safety levers with S/F markings and a left-side reciprocating charging handle for positive manipulation.
The stock folds to the right on a robust hinge and telescopes for an adjustable length of pull of approximately 13–16 inches. The AR-type stock interface adds modularity, and the polymer pistol grip carries the IWI logo.
This SBR accepts AK-pattern magazines and includes flip-up iron sights installed. Markings include IWI - ISRAEL and IWI US MIDDLETOWN, PA. This is an NFA item and will require a tax stamp.
