1953 Cugir Model TTC 7.62x25mm Tokarev Pistol, Blued, 4.6 in Barrel, 8+1 Capacity, Romanian CAI Import
This Romanian Cugir Model TTC is a 1953-production Tokarev-pattern service pistol chambered in 7.62x25mm. It features all-steel, blued construction with fixed blade-and-notch sights, black ribbed grips, and a lanyard loop. The pistol is import-marked by Century Arms International (C.A.I. Georgia, VT) and includes a canvas/leather flap holster and one 8-round magazine.
Condition
Overall Condition: Good condition, showing some signs of prior use and handling.
Bore Condition: Good - Clean, well-maintained, minor wear marks.
Bore Rifling: Good Rifling - Intact, well-defined lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: There is usage wear on the hammer. Light rust is present on the chamber face of the barrel. The bluing is marred on the barrel at the ejection port. There is usage wear on the muzzle of the barrel near the crown. See pictures.

The Cugir Model TTC follows the Tokarev pattern with a short-recoil, locked-breech, single-action design and an external spur-style hammer. It uses the modular hammer/sear unit typical of the platform and feeds from an 8-round, single-stack magazine.
Production is marked 1953 on the frame, and the left slide bears the legend "CUGIR, ROMANIA / CAL. 7.62 X 25MM / C.A.I. GEORGIA, VT. / MODEL TTC." The right side of the frame shows a triangle symbol, and the pistol carries C.A.I. Georgia, VT import markings.
This full-size, all-steel pistol is finished in bluing on both slide and frame and is fitted with black vertically ribbed plastic grip panels. It has a 4.6-inch barrel and an 8+1 capacity, with a lanyard loop at the butt for retention.
Sighting is via fixed iron sights with a front blade and rear notch. A frame-mounted manual safety lever includes a red index dot for visual confirmation. The single-action trigger complements the classic Tokarev operating system.
