    What's Included

    • Black leather duty holster with retention strap

The Model 27-2 represents Smith & Wesson’s premium .357 Magnum lineage that began with the original 1935 Registered Magnum. This example retains hallmark features including the hand-checkered topstrap and barrel rib over a high-polish blued carbon-steel N-frame and six-shot fluted cylinder.

The 3.5-inch barrel combines an integral, checkered rib with a shrouded ejector rod and short underlug. This configuration is noted for its balance in the hand while maintaining the robust N-frame build. The action is double-action/single-action.

Sight equipment includes a serrated ramp front sight paired with a micro-adjustable rear sight, providing a clear, traditional iron-sight picture. The color case-hardened wide spur hammer and narrow, smooth-faced service trigger reflect Smith & Wesson’s deluxe finishing of the period.

Factory checkered walnut Magna stocks with the diamond pattern and S&W medallions complement the square-butt frame. Matching serials on the butt and in the yoke cut reinforce originality; the number on the yoke is an assembly number. The sideplate bears the circular S&W "TRADE MARK" monogram, while the "MADE IN U.S.A. MARCAS REGISTRADAS SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MASS." address block is rollmarked on the right side of the frame below the cylinder window.
