This 1979 CZ vz. 70 is a compact .32 ACP, Czechoslovak-made, DA/SA blowback pistol with classic blued steel construction. It also bears a Czechoslovak rampant-lion proof with adjacent "79" date and a C.A.I. GEORGIA VT.

The vz. 70 uses a fixed barrel, simple blowback system paired with a DA/SA trigger. It includes a manual safety and a decocker, with a right-side push-button takedown for straightforward maintenance. The external spur/ring-style hammer provides positive control during manual cocking or decocking.
The pistol is built on a blued steel frame and slide, with a serrated anti-glare top rib to reduce glare along the sighting plane. Sighting is by a fixed integral front blade and a square-notch rear set in a dovetail. Black checkered plastic grips with CZ medallions provide secure purchase.
