This Kalashnikov USA KP-9 is a USA-made, AK-pattern 9mm pistol inspired by the PP-19-01 Vityaz platform. It features custom wood furniture, a folding skeletonized metal arm brace, and a 9.25 inch threaded barrel with a Soviet Arms cylindrical muzzle device installed. A hinged railed top cover and six 30-round Kalashnikov USA magazines complete a configuration built around reliable blowback operation and familiar AK-style controls.

The KP-9 uses a stamped AK-pattern receiver with riveted construction and a right-side charging handle, paired with a left-side manual safety lever. Controls are familiar and straightforward, including a paddle-style magazine release designed for the proprietary Kalashnikov USA double-stack 9mm magazines.
The pistol is configured with upgraded wood furniture: a two-piece wood handguard with vent slots and a wood pistol grip finished in a reddish lacquer. A folding, skeletonized metal arm brace with a rear strap and QD sling socket is installed, complementing the KP-9’s compact format.
The 9.25 inch barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and currently fitted with a Soviet Arms cylindrical muzzle device; the OEM muzzle device is included separately. This threaded setup expands compatibility with 1/2x28 muzzle accessories.
A hinged top cover with an integral Picatinny rail provides a stable mounting surface while retaining the KP-9’s classic AK-pattern iron sights: a hooded front post and a tangent rear leaf. The design is rooted in the PP-19-01 Vityaz concept, adapted here to a closed-bolt, straight blowback 9mm system made in the USA.
