Heckler & Koch's CC9 is the company's first micro-compact double-stack 9mm, introduced in late 2024. This optics-ready example uses a direct-mount RMSc footprint and pairs a DLC-coated slide with a cold hammer-forged, polygonal barrel. It features mirrored ambidextrous controls, interchangeable backstraps, and a single-slot Picatinny rail in a slim, carry-friendly package.

The CC9 was tested to NATO AC/225 standards with over 750,000 development rounds, underscoring HK's durability focus. Despite its micro size, it provides a 12+1 capacity in 9mm Luger and retains a controllable form factor thanks to thoughtful ergonomics.
The slide and barrel wear a hard DLC finish. The 3.32 in barrel is cold hammer-forged with polygonal rifling and a 1:9.8 in right-hand twist. Front and rear slide serrations aid manipulation, and the optics cut ships with a cover plate. The direct-mount RMSc interface streamlines mounting compatible micro red dots.
Sight configuration is purposeful: a high-visibility tritium front pairs with a blacked-out, serrated rear, yielding a 5.12 in sight radius. The polymer frame uses interchangeable backstraps (S and L) to tune fit. Controls are mirrored and include an ambidextrous push-button magazine release.
The striker-fired action is supported by a comprehensive safety suite: trigger safety, firing-pin/drop safety, out-of-battery safety, and a safe-takedown system. Dimensions are compact at 6.03 in overall length, 0.99 in width, and 4.92 in height, with an unloaded weight of 18.4 oz. A single-slot Picatinny rail supports accessories.
