The 16 inch barrel is made from 4150 CMV steel, is button-rifled, and uses a hybrid profile with a 1:7 twist to stabilize a wide range of 5.56mm projectiles. The muzzle is threaded and fitted with a three-prong flash hider.
A 15 inch free-float aluminum handguard provides an M-LOK interface with a continuous 12 o'clock Picatinny rail. The handguard uses a proprietary anti-rotation mounting interface, and the forged-aluminum upper and lower receivers are matched for a solid fit.
Controls are straightforward, with an ambidextrous safety selector and a polymer pistol grip bearing the FN logo. This rifle is customized with an Anderson Manufacturing 6-position collapsible carbine stock, offering a 6-position adjustable length of pull.
Markings include an upper receiver roll-marked "FN 15 GUARDIAN" and a lower marked "MODEL FN15 CALIBER MULTI" and "FN COLUMBIA, SC."
