The slide has front and rear cocking serrations and is configured for iron sights with no optics cut. Sights include a red fiber-optic front and a black serrated rear notch for a clean sight picture.
The modular aluminum-alloy frame mates to a polymer 2011 grip module featuring a star/X texture and a modestly flared integral magwell. Controls include a left-side magazine release, ambidextrous thumb safeties, and a grip safety, along with a skeletonized curved trigger with lightening slots and a skeletonized rowel hammer.
Markings include a small U.S.-flag on the left side of the frame, a 20★11 marking on the right front of the frame, and underside dust cover markings of STACCATO and GEORGETOWN, TX USA. The serial number is also stamped on the barrel hood. The included magazines are Staccato 2011-pattern Gen 3 units with "G3" stamped on the magazine bodies just below the 16-round witness mark; the baseplates are unmarked, with witness marks to 16.
