Built on a forged steel receiver marked "U.S. REMINGTON MODEL 03-A3," this rifle aligns with late WWII Remington production. It retains the Mauser-type receiver layout with a swept bolt handle and round knob, combined with a 24 in steel barrel and a 5-round internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate.
The rifle uses iron sights configured for practical field use. The front is a blade in a winged base. The rear is a receiver-mounted aperture sight with protective wings, a yard-scale elevation slide, and 1-MOA windage clicks, adjustable for both elevation and windage.
The sporter conversion centers on a commercial walnut stock with a Monte Carlo comb and cheekpiece, paired with a black forend tip and spacer. A serrated buttplate with a white-line spacer is fitted, and sling swivels are installed. The stock deletes the military handguard and barrel bands, and the length of pull measures 14.0 in.
Chambered in .30-06 Springfield and configured as a bolt-action, this 1903A3 retains its sturdy U.S. service-rifle lineage while reflecting a period sporter style. Materials include a forged steel receiver, a steel barrel, and a walnut-toned stock.
