CAL. .22LR TEC-22," accepts Ruger 10/22-pattern and Intratec magazines, and comes with its factory hard case and manual. Published TEC-22 safety/recall serial ranges do not include this example.

The TEC-22 Scorpion features a stamped-steel receiver cover with longitudinal ribs, a right-side ejection port, and a polymer frame with a black one-piece grip that has horizontal serrations. Controls include a manual safety and a top-mounted charging piece for straightforward operation.
The 4-inch steel barrel is factory threaded and fitted with a knurled thread protector. This is the original TEC-22 threaded configuration, distinct from the later unthreaded Sport-22 variant.
Sights are fixed post-and-notch with protective ears front and rear, offering a simple and durable sight picture in a compact package.
It runs a simple blowback action in .22 LR and accepts both Intratec and Ruger 10/22-pattern magazines. Capacity is 15+1, and this example includes one factory 15-round magazine.
Receiver markings read "INTRATEC MIAMI, FL. CAL. .22LR TEC-22," confirming U.S. manufacture. Published TEC-22 safety/recall serial ranges do not include this serial.
