The rifle is built on the Model 14 action with a Remington 700 footprint and a spiral-fluted bolt body. The receiver carries a durable black-nitride finish and is marked Gunnison, UT USA. A factory 0-MOA receiver Picatinny rail is installed for mounting optics.
The 16 in barrel is 416R stainless steel with a carbon-fiber wrap to reduce weight while maintaining rigidity. It uses a 1:7 twist and is threaded 5/8x24, fitted with a three-prong flash hider.
The carbon-fiber composite stock is finished tan with black webbing and includes a straight comb, recoil pad, sling swivel studs, and a forward accessory rail on the forend. Length of pull is 13.75 in.
An AICS-pattern detachable magazine system is factory-configured for MDT magazines. Capacity is 10+1, and this rifle includes three MDT metal 10-round magazines. The installed Magpul bipod attaches to the forend Picatinny rail, and a rifle sling is already fitted.
