The SXE variant includes automatic ejectors, a single-selective trigger with a top-tang barrel selector, and a coin-finish aluminum alloy receiver with factory scroll and game-scene engraving. Oil-finished Turkish walnut furniture and a 3 inch chamber round out a well-appointed field-ready configuration.

This Cavalry SXE is configured with 28 inch chrome-moly steel barrels finished in black chrome and marked "12GA / 3 inch Chamber." The ventilated top rib uses rectangular lightening ports to reduce weight and improve swing, and sighting is straightforward with a brass front bead.
The receiver is aluminum alloy with a silver/coin finish and factory scroll and game-scene engraving on both cheeks. The model is marked "Cavalry SxE," and the import mark reads "AMERICAN TACTICAL, Summerville, SC."
Operation is via a break-action with a single-selective trigger and a top-tang barrel selector. As the SXE variant, it is equipped with automatic ejectors for quick, positive hull clearance. Capacity is 2 rounds.
The stock set is oil-finished Turkish walnut with a pistol-grip buttstock, schnabel forend, cut checkering, and a rubber recoil pad. Length of pull is 14.0 inches, and the barrels accept interchangeable choke tubes for adaptable patterning.
