The cylinder carries the factory Colt-style naval battle roll engraving, and the revolver bears Italian black-powder proof marks, including CIP and PN codes.

Built on an open-top frame with a wedge-retained barrel assembly, this 1860 Army reproduction follows the classic design details closely. The creeping-style loading lever with a muzzle latch and the right-side capping cutout in the recoil shield support period-correct operation.
Construction is all-steel where it matters, with a blued steel barrel and cylinder and a color case-hardened steel frame and receiver. It is paired with a brass trigger guard, blued steel backstrap, and smooth varnished hardwood grips for a traditional look and feel.
The 6-chamber percussion cylinder carries the factory roll-engraved naval battle scene, a hallmark of the pattern. Italian black-powder proof marks are present, including CIP, PN, and a boxed date/proof code.
