The Bersa Thunder 40 Pro is a full-size, Pro Series .40 S&W service pistol built on an aluminum alloy frame with a steel slide and a duo-tone finish. This DA/SA model features an integral MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail, ambidextrous safety/decocker levers, and a reversible magazine release. It is marked with Argentine manufacture and U.S. import stamps and comes with its factory box, manual, and one 13-round steel magazine.
Designed as a duty-ready DA/SA platform, this Thunder 40 Pro pairs a 4.25 in barrel with a 13+1 capacity in a controllable, full-size format. The exposed spurred hammer and decocker-equipped manual safety support traditional double-action operation with a clean transition to single action.
Controls are configured for versatility: fully ambidextrous safety/decocker levers, a reversible magazine release, and rear slide serrations for positive handling. The pistol uses an external extractor and a witness cut at the ejection port for quick visual checks. Sights are dovetailed 3-dot units with a front dot and a 2-dot rear.
The alloy frame is paired with one-piece wrap-around polymer grips bearing the BERSA logo, and the integral MIL-STD-1913 rail accommodates compatible weapon lights or accessories. The duo-tone finish complements the steel slide and black frame for a purposeful, service-grade look.
Markings reflect its origin and importation: Bersa S.A., Ramos Mejia, Argentina, with RSA Enterprises Inc., Ocean NJ import marks. This Pro Series model was later succeeded by Bersa’s TPR line in 2018, anchoring it within a known lineage of Bersa service pistols.
