This Walther PPK/S First Edition is a TALO Exclusive limited run from 2019, produced in Fort Smith, Arkansas to mark the return of U.S. PPK/S production. It features stainless steel construction, checkered hardwood grips with Walther banners, and commemorative First Edition markings. This First Edition PPK/S is a TALO Exclusive limited to approximately 1,240–1,250 pistols, released in 2019. It carries commemorative First Edition markings and was built in the U.S. at Walther Arms, Fort Smith, Arkansas. The slide is marked "Carl Walther Waffenfabrik Ulm/Do. Mod.
PPK/S Cal. 9mm kurz/.380ACP" with the right side marked "Walther Arms, Inc. Fort Smith, AR USA."
The stainless steel frame and slide present a cohesive, durable finish. It wears checkered hardwood grips with Walther banners, pairing classic style with a secure hold. The slide includes rear serrations and an anti-glare rib, and the fixed sights use red inserts front and rear for defined sight references.
Configured as a PPK/S, it combines the PP-length frame with the PPK slide and barrel. The extended beavertail/tang aids control. Chambered in .380 ACP with a 3.3 inch barrel and a 7+1 capacity, it remains a compact, carryable format while retaining the PPK/S profile.
The pistol operates via a simple blowback action with a DA/SA trigger. Safety features include a slide-mounted safety/decocker and a firing pin safety. A spurred hammer and fixed blade/notch sights round out its classic PPK/S feature set.
