This Platypus 17 blends 1911 single-action controls with Glock 17–pattern magazine compatibility, delivering a 17+1 capacity in a full-size package. It features an ambidextrous manual thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety, along with a flat-faced, skeletonized trigger for a crisp, consistent break.
The slide is finished in black nitride and includes front lightening windows plus dimpled "prickle" traction panels on the sides and top for confident manipulation. An integrated single-port compensator is built into the system, and the barrel is non-threaded.
The frame carries a matching black nitride finish and an extended/full-length dust cover with a multi-slot Picatinny accessory rail. An SA-branded flared magwell speeds reloads, while aggressive textured grip panels enhance control; the left panel is molded with "17."
Sight arrangement is straightforward and durable, with a configurable setup; current configuration may vary. The pistol is marked "STEALTH ARMS CELINA OH USA," reflecting its U.S. manufacture.
