The PT 99 AFS combines a stainless-tone finish with bright flats and matte top surfaces, giving the open-top 92-pattern slide a distinct, functional presentation. The non-railed frame with a hooked, squared trigger guard reflects the classic profile of this adjustable-sight variant.
Its short-recoil, DA/SA system pairs with a frame-mounted manual safety and a fire indicator dot. A spurred hammer and smooth wood grip panels with Taurus medallions complete the control layout and handling features.
The sighting system uses a fixed front blade integral to the slide and a fully adjustable rear sight with an elevation screw, offering fine-tuning potential. Construction consists of a steel slide and barrel over an aluminum-alloy frame to deliver a full-size 4.9-inch platform in 9mm Luger.
Model rollmarks include "PT 99 AFS CAL. 9 mm PARA." with origin and importer markings "FORJAS TAURUS S.A. MADE IN BRAZIL" and "TAURUS INT. MFG. INC.
MIAMI, FL." Capacity is 17+1, and this example ships with two 15-round magazines and one 17-round magazine.
