The Scorpion 3+ control layout adds an ambidextrous bolt catch and AR-style ambidextrous magazine release for familiar, efficient handling. The fiberglass-reinforced polymer frame and receiver keep weight manageable while maintaining durability.
The 16.3 in steel barrel is threaded 1/2x28 TPI and fitted with a muzzle shroud. A polymer M-LOK handguard provides slots at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock with an integral hand stop. A full-length Picatinny rail bridges the receiver and handguard, and the factory CZ flip-up front and rear sights are included.
The folding polymer stock with a skeletonized butt keeps the package compact and practical. An F5 Manufacturing buttpad is installed. Factory measurements list an approximate overall length of 24.7 in folded and 35 in extended, and weight around 6.8 lb.
Installed upgrades include a Strike Industries pistol grip and ambidextrous safety selector, plus an aftermarket skeletonized trigger. These parts complement the 3+ ergonomics while preserving the straightforward, straight-blowback operating system.
The magazine package is extensive: one 50-round drum plus six stick magazines. Scorpion 3+ pattern magazines are redesigned and compatible in EVO 3 firearms, while original EVO 3 magazines do not have the 3+ side catch cutout and are not native to 3+ lowers. The receiver bears the CZ-USA, Kansas City, KS import mark.
