This Sporter uses the AKM long-stroke gas piston system and a stamped steel receiver in matte black. Its configuration blends classic AKM patterning with practical polymer furniture and a fixed stock that provides a consistent cheek weld. The threaded muzzle with a slant compensator is true to the pattern and ready for common accessories using the existing device.
Import and origin details are clearly present: PIONEER ARMS CORP. RADOM, POLAND and PIONEER ARMS CORP. PORT ORANGE, FL markings, plus a Radom Poland crest on the rear sight block. These markings, combined with the receiver’s magazine well dimples and ribbed top cover, make this a distinct Polish-made example.
Ergonomics are straightforward and durable. The fixed black polymer stock with right-side sling loop, finger-groove pistol grip, and ribbed handguard offer a secure hold. Standard AK-pattern iron sights include a hoodless/open-ear front post and adjustable tangent rear for practical zeroing and elevation changes.
Functionally, the rifle accepts standard double-stack AK-pattern 7.62x39 magazines and includes a TAPCO U.S.A. polymer magazine. A U.S.-made TAPCO internal compliance part is visible. The rifle retains the classic AKM elements many buyers look for, including the under-barrel cleaning rod and slant compensator, and the receiver does not include a left-side optic rail.
