This DS Arms SA58 FAL from the Range Ready Series is a 16 inch traditional carbine chambered in 7.62x51 NATO, built in the USA and configured with the classic full-length adjustable FAL gas system. It features DSA's Extreme Duty scope-mount receiver cover with numbered Picatinny slots, an A2-style rear sight, and a left-side, folding, non-reciprocating charging handle. It accepts metric-pattern FAL magazines and is also compatible with .308 Winchester per DSA guidance.

This carbine follows the proven FN FAL pattern with a short-stroke gas piston and a standard full-length adjustable gas system using a regulator ring. The 16 inch barrel is fitted with a short multi-port muzzle brake to help control muzzle movement.
The receiver is topped with DSA's Extreme Duty scope-mount cover featuring numbered Picatinny slots. Sights include a protected front post and an A2-style aperture rear sight. The non-reciprocating charging handle is on the left side, folds flat, and has a scalloped profile for positive manipulation. A manual safety is fitted.
Furniture is traditional and durable: two-piece stamped-steel handguards (Austrian StG-58 style) with elongated oval vents and two circular holes on the underside, a fixed humpback synthetic stock with a bottom sling swivel and ribbed buttplate, and a SAW-style polymer pistol grip. Length of pull is 14.0 inches.
This SA58 accepts detachable metric FAL-pattern magazines and includes one 20-round DSA-marked magazine. Chambering is 7.62x51 NATO, and DSA indicates compatibility with .308 Winchester. Markings observed include DS Arms Lake Barrington, IL and selector legends "S" and "R."
