The Performance Center Carry Comp treatment is the centerpiece of this Shield X, combining a 3.6 in stainless barrel that is both fluted and ported with an integrated PowerPort compensator. A ported window near the muzzle aligns with the barrel work, and the assembly retains the micro footprint for discreet carry.
The slide wears a black Armornite finish with front and rear serrations, lightening cuts, and an optics cut using the RMSc/Holosun-K footprint. A dedicated cover plate is secured by two screws when no optic is installed. The slide carries the factory warning, "CAUTION - CAPABLE OF FIRING WITH MAGAZINE REMOVED."
Sight configuration is fast and practical: an AmeriGlo Trooper LumiGreen tritium front sight paired with a black serrated rear sight. Controls include a manual thumb safety, and the striker-fired, flat-faced trigger uses a safety blade.
The polymer frame features a textured grip and a 1913-style accessory rail on the dustcover for lights or other rail-mounted gear. Overall length is about 6.87 in, and unloaded weight is about 20.6 oz.
Capacity is 15+1 with magazines compatible with the Shield X/Plus pattern. This example includes both 15-round and 13-round factory steel magazines, offering flexibility for carry and reload preferences.
