The Compact configuration delivers a shorter 12.5-inch length of pull and a 20-inch barrel, giving this rifle a balanced feel and quick handling without sacrificing the .243 Winchester chambering. Capacity is 5+1 via the detachable steel magazine.
The carbon-steel barrel is free-floated and button-rifled, with a sporter contour and matte blued finish. It uses a plain crown and is non-threaded. Remington's barrel-nut system and dual-pillar bedding work with the floating bolt head to promote consistent headspacing and repeatable accuracy.
The CrossFire user-adjustable bladed trigger provides a crisp, tunable pull. The black polymer stock includes a straight comb, integral trigger guard, textured grip and fore-end, a recoil pad, and sling swivel studs.
