The Calico Jack series branding is a focal point, featuring a white skull-and-crossed-sabers roll mark on the lower and pirate-themed selector legends labeled PLUNDER, PARLEY, and ARRR. The lower is marked CAL – MULTI and MOD – ST15, with Spike's Tactical Apopka, FL U.S.A. roll marks present, and the handguard carries a MADE IN USA marking.
Built on 7075-T6 forged aluminum receivers with a Type III hard-coat anodized black finish, this AR-15-platform firearm is chambered in .300 AAC Blackout (7.62x35mm). The upper includes a forward assist, shell deflector, and a T-marked top rail, while the ejection port cover is clearly marked .300 BLK.
The 10.5 in barrel is threaded and fitted with a cylindrical multi-port linear-comp style muzzle device. A free-float aluminum KeyMod handguard provides attachment slots with a full-length 12 o'clock Picatinny rail. A short Picatinny rail section is installed on the bottom and fitted with a polymer angled foregrip.
Furniture and sights are ready to use, with polymer flip-up front and rear sights installed, an A2 pistol grip, and a Magpul MOE carbine adjustable stock. Capacity is 30+1, and it comes with a Magpul PMAG GEN M3 30-round magazine marked 5.56x45.
