Built on Tisas’ DS double-stack 1911 platform, the Carry 9 DS uses a hybrid 2011-style construction with a forged steel main frame and a polymer double-stack grip module. The compact size balances carry-friendly dimensions with duty-capable capacity.
The 4.25 in bushingless bull barrel, single-action-only system, and skeletonized trigger with two elongated lightening cutouts are set up for consistent lockup and a clean trigger press. Ambidextrous thumb safeties and a grip safety provide familiar 1911-style controls.
The matte black slide features front and rear cocking serrations and a lowered/flared ejection port. Sights consist of a green fiber-optic front and a serrated square-notch rear; the rear sight mounting configuration may vary.
Factory finish is listed as FF Black. An integrated accessory rail on the frame supports lights or other rail-mounted accessories. The pistol is marked with the TISAS KNOXVILLE, TN. import stamp and is identified on the case label as CARRY B9R DS. Empty weight is approximately 940 g, with overall length about 7.9 in, height 5.76 in, and width 1.50 in.
