The 7.5-inch 416R stainless barrel is Melonite treated and cut with a 1:7 twist for 5.56 NATO. A forward blast-diverter muzzle device is partially recessed into the handguard, creating a streamlined front profile.
Forged 7075-T6 aluminum receivers wear a Type III hardcoat anodized finish and incorporate Springfield Armory’s Accu-Tite receiver tension system. The upper features a T-marked Picatinny rail, while the handguard provides short top rail sections with an interrupted top rail design.
The free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard keeps the barrel isolated and offers modern accessory mounting. The pistol uses a semi-automatic, direct impingement action on the AR-15 platform.
Controls and furniture include a single-stage, flat-faced, nickel-boron coated trigger, a B5 Systems Type 23 P-Grip, and an SB Tactical SBA3 adjustable brace with a QD sling socket and strap. Capacity is 30+1, and the pistol is made in the USA.
