The 4.1-inch flush-fit barrel is cold hammer-forged with a recessed crown and a polished feed ramp. This setup pairs .45 ACP chambering with a compact barrel length while maintaining a 15+1 capacity using steel double-stack magazines.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the slide stop and magazine release, with an ambidextrous design that supports either hand. The striker-fired system features a flat-faced trigger and a trigger safety for a consistent, modern trigger feel.
The slide wears a matte black finish with front and rear cocking serrations, and it is marked 545 with FN branding. The polymer frame, also matte black, includes a textured grip with an indexing pad, FN medallions, and a lanyard hole. A 4-slot Picatinny/MIL-STD-1913 rail on the dustcover supports lights or other accessories.
