Built on the AR-15 platform, this M400 uses a direct impingement operating system and a 16-inch threaded barrel stamped "5.56 NATO" at the muzzle. The aluminum receiver set wears a matte anodized finish and is the flat-top A3 style with a forward assist and shell deflector.
The free-float aluminum handguard provides a full-length top Picatinny rail that aligns with the receiver. Accessory slots on the handguard expand mounting options, while an aftermarket multi-port muzzle brake helps manage muzzle movement.
Controls and furniture are thoughtfully upgraded. An ambidextrous extended-latch charging handle improves access, and an IMI Defense E1 adjustable stock offers flexible fit. A rubberized ergonomic pistol grip with textured panels enhances handling.
This rifle carries an Exeter, NH receiver marking associated with early U.S. production. It has no iron sights installed. Capacity is 30+1 with AR-15 pattern magazines, and two 30-round PMAGs are included.
