This PRO-15 is built on the AR-15 platform with a semi-automatic, direct-impingement operating system. It uses aluminum receivers with a matte black anodized finish and carries PRO2A Tactical Alpharetta, GA roll marks with a Spartan-helmet logo. The upper is a slick-side billet-style design with no forward assist or ejection-port cover, giving a clean, streamlined profile.
The 16-inch steel barrel is threaded and capped with a thread protector; no flash hider installed. A free-float aluminum handguard provides M-LOK slots and a continuous 12 o'clock Picatinny rail, offering a solid, modern interface along the top. An AR-15 multi-lug rotating bolt is visible through the ejection port.
Furniture includes an M4-style 6-position collapsible stock on a carbine receiver extension secured with a castle nut, an A2-type polymer grip, and a matte black finish throughout. Controls feature an ambidextrous safety selector with distinctive "AWAKE/SLEEPY" markings.
The lower is multi-caliber marked and configured here for 5.56 NATO, feeding from STANAG-pattern magazines with a stated 30+1 capacity. This rifle is configured without factory sights.
