    What’s Included

    • Ithaca Model 37 Featherlight Field Grade 16 Gauge shotgun

The Model 37's bottom-eject, bottom-load steel receiver offers an ambidextrous setup that is friendly to left-handed shooters. The receiver is factory roll-engraved with a hunting scene. "PROOF TESTED" appears on the barrel at the breech, just forward of the receiver, consistent with period markings.

The 28" plain barrel features a modified choke and a 2 3/4" chamber, set up with a single brass bead front sight for straightforward field use. The barrel is marked with U.S. Patent No. 1,849,982 and "PROOF TESTED."

Furniture is walnut throughout, including a pistol-grip stock with a checkered wrist and a grooved corncob-style forend. Length of pull measures 14.0". The takedown-style barrel lug with magazine cap complements the tubular magazine for a 4+1 capacity.

This early Featherlight configuration is slam-fire capable when the trigger is held during cycling, reflecting production characteristics of the era. Interchangeable barrels were not standard on early Model 37s. Made in the United States in 1950.
