Ruger GP100 .357 Magnum DA/SA Revolver, 4.2 in Blued, Adjustable Sights, 1991
Manufactured in 1991, this Ruger GP100 is a six-shot, double-action/single-action .357 Magnum revolver with a 4.2 inch blued carbon-steel barrel. It features a full underlug, adjustable iron sights, and Ruger’s robust cylinder and lockwork design. The package includes a revolver speedloader.
Condition
Overall Condition: Good condition, showing some signs of prior use and handling.
Bore Condition: Good - Clean, well-maintained, minor wear marks.
Bore Rifling: Good Rifling - Intact, well-defined lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: Scratches are present on the cylinder with light rust pitting. There are scratches inside the trigger guard forward of the trigger, and a scratch on the top of the grip frame. Rust pitting is visible on the right side of the frame above the trigger well. The front of the barrel near the muzzle shows scratches and marring of the bluing. Please refer to the photos for close-ups.

The GP100 platform is built on carbon-steel components with a blued/black-oxide finish, including the frame and cylinder. The 4.2 inch barrel has a full underlug and a serrated rib, with the ejector rod fully shrouded for protection and smooth operation. This example was made in the United States in 1991.
The six-shot fluted cylinder uses Ruger’s triple-locking system for secure lockup. A left-side push-button cylinder latch provides straightforward unloading and reloading, and the coil-spring lockwork and modular grip peg reflect the model’s serviceable design.
The revolver operates in double-action/single-action with a spurred hammer and a smooth trigger. A transfer bar is fitted as a safety feature.
Targeting is handled by a pinned ramp front sight and a fully adjustable rear sight. The factory Ruger one-piece rubber grip with hardwood inserts provides a secure, hand-filling hold. A revolver speedloader is included.
