The 18.5-inch alloy-steel barrel is cold hammer-forged, tapered, and crowned for durability and consistency, finished in blue and left unthreaded. The aluminum-alloy receiver is drilled and tapped and equipped with the factory combination scope base, with two-piece rings and a Bushnell 4x scope already installed.
The hardwood stock has a satin finish and a straight-comb sporter profile with no checkering. It retains the traditional barrel-band fore-end and includes a front sling-swivel stud. Length of pull is 13.5 inches, keeping the carbine quick and comfortable to shoulder.
This carbine uses Ruger’s semi-automatic blowback action and patented rotary magazine system. It includes both BX-25 25-round magazines and 10-round factory rotary magazines, offering flexibility for range use or small-game pursuits. An extended magazine release speeds reloads.
